The planetarium of Lisbon is integrated in the city's Marine Museum. Up to its renovation in 2004, the facility – one of Europe's largest – was visited by more than three million viewers. The installation of the new Model IX UNIVERSARIUM projector has regained the planetarium a leading rank among the world's most modern star theaters.
